What is "News"?

                A story, a thought, an event, an idea.  News is what we are all talking about.  As its name suggests, it typically centers on new and noteworthy content that, for whatever reason, holds a certain amount of interest to the general public.  News catches our eye and fires up our minds; everything else is just information.
